Each vintage is crafted in tiny volume from steep, demanding hillside sites in Oakville and Pritchard Hill.
Only the most compelling lots make it to bottle.

Like a herd, we move by connection. Most bottles are allocated directly to a small, invitation only circle.
They rarely appear in the wild, and when they do, it is usually because one collector chose to share with another.
There is no public tasting room.
Access comes slowly, often through a personal introduction. From long French oak aging to bespoke large formats
and custom packaging, every detail reflects a different kind of luxury.
Since 2008, the mission has not changed. Tusk will never be everywhere.

Tusk L’Orange is our proprietors’ blend. Crafted in small quantities, it pairs Cabernet Sauvignon with select Bordeaux varietals, including Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc, for lifted aromatics and quiet opulence. Concentrated, sculpted, and layered, L’Orange is where perfume, texture, and polish meet a long, luminous finish.

Born and trained in Bordeaux, with a foundation in geology and terroir, his work is defined by precision, site expression, and restraint.
Through decades of consulting for top estates, he brings an exacting lens to Tusk, selecting only the most compelling lots each year.
Maayan was invited to join the Tusk winemaking team in 2014, bringing elite Napa and global cellar experience to the house.
After making wine in Israel, he moved to Napa and honed his craft at benchmark estates before joining Atelier Melka, where he rose to Director of Winemaking. Technical, focused, and steady, he helps carry Tusk’s signature of precision and consistency vintage to vintage.
